This is the working record of Kevin Barrett and KJ Barrett & Associates — dates where a document can carry one, and no date where it cannot. The firm has operated from the same Zephyrhills, Florida address since 2002.
No date appears here unless something can carry it. Memory is not a source. Where my recollection and a document disagree, the document wins. Where only recollection exists, the row says so and you can weigh it accordingly.

The two public sources were written eight years apart for different purposes and agree at every point they touch. The archived client listing is the only one of the three I could not have back-dated.

On the length of the 3M engagement. The 2006 corporate page says twenty years; the chronology runs July 1966 to September 1987, which is twenty-one. Both figures are mine, eighteen years apart, and the shorter one is the older. The longer figure is the one the employment dates support.
On the Tulsa story, and why it carries no year. My recollection places it before the Italy posting, which would put it between 1973 and 1977. A detail in my own telling points to a few years later, during the technical marketing years. Two sources in my own head disagree, so I am publishing neither. The story is not improved by a date it cannot support.

Note on the two Australian end-dates. The chronology runs the Australian practice to September 2004; I came home in 2003. The later date is the business winding up behind me, not where I was living.

Poulos Poultry, 2005–2006
Poulos Poultry was a fresh-poultry retail franchise concept developed in 2005–2006, with KJ Barrett & Associates as Franchisor and two company-owned prototype stores planned. Neither the prototypes nor the franchise reached the market. No shop ever opened.

Claims that rest on memory alone
Four claims here have no document behind them, and I am marking them rather than burying them.
The Debenham Tewson offers. More than $100 million in purchase offers the banks would not accept, as the Sydney market fell in 1990 and 1991. The role and the dates are on the record; the figure is mine, from memory, with no paper.
Matchprint. My account is that a surface layer holding dot size and colour balance to US and European standards was one of my ideas, developed with a Kansas City client running Hallmark work. What the record shows is that I ran technical service for colour proofing across Europe from Ferrania between 1977 and 1980. The role is documented; the specific contribution is not.
Why the Institute closed. I have always said it was shut down by the institutions it threatened. I have the course materials and the partnership on the page; I do not have a document for the ending.
The KJ Barrett & Associates mark. I have said the mark has been in continuous use since the Westpac Mortgage Processing Centre engagement in Adelaide. The surviving printed cards carry a Florida telephone number and are therefore 2003 or later. No artwork file, Australian-era card or dated letterhead has been located. The design’s origin rests on memory; only its continuity is evidenced.
